President of Uzbekistan to pay an official visit to China

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to China from August 30 to September 3 at the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.
On August 31-September 1, the Leader of Uzbekistan will take part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the "SCO Plus" summit, which will be held in Tianjin.
The agenda of the events includes topical issues of expanding multilateral cooperation in priority areas and further improving the organization's activities. The results are expected to include the adoption of the Tianjin Declaration, joint documents, and decisions aimed at developing and strengthening partnerships in the fields of security, the digital economy, green industry, energy, tourism and other areas.
On September 2, in Beijing, the Head of our state will hold talks with President of China Xi Jinping, as well as meetings with officials and leaders of leading Chinese companies. Issues related to deepening Uzbek-Chinese relations of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership and increasing practical cooperation will be discussed.
On September 3, the President of Uzbekistan will take part in celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II.
