Telephone conversation with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy

On January 7, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a telephone conversation with Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/European Commission Vice-President. 

During the conversation a number of topics within the framework of bilateral and multilateral cooperation were covered. Foreign Minister noted that the cooperation between the regions is increasing rapidly. Many results were achieved and it was emphasized that there are still more opportunities ahead. This year the Central Asia-European Union summit, which will be held in Samarkand, is eagerly awaited.
