Uzbekistan has been recognized as the safest country among 121 countries in the world
According to the uzbektourism.uz portal, Uzbekistan has been rated as having the lowest level of danger to life and mobility in the "Safety Perception Index 2023."
The top five safest countries also include the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Norway, and Estonia.
Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan ranked 14th, Tajikistan 17th, and Kyrgyzstan 26th.
The lowest positions in the ranking were occupied by Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Mali.
The "Safety Perception Index" focuses on five factors: food and water, violent crime, adverse weather conditions, mental health, and safety in workplaces. These factors are crucial for forming the image that serves as the basis for the country's safety ranking.
The fact that Uzbekistan is ranked first in this index creates a foundation for the unhindered arrival and departure of foreign tourists to and from our country.
