“FUTURE HERITAGE” INTERNATIONAL AWARD

The “Future Heritage” International Award is a prestigious award established to recognize and encourage individuals who have achieved outstanding results in the fields of literature, culture, arts, science, education, and digital technologies, and who have made a significant contribution to national and global development.
The Award aims to support creative professionals, scientists, specialists, and innovators, promote their scientific and creative activities, widely disseminate advanced ideas and initiatives, and foster the development of international cultural and scientific cooperation.
Legal Framework of the Award
The Regulations of the “Future Heritage” International Award define the procedure for nominating candidates, selection criteria, determination of winners, and the awarding process. The Regulations govern all organizational, legal, and financial matters related to the Award.
The Award may be granted to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, foreign citizens, and stateless persons, thereby ensuring its truly international status.
Award Categories
The International Award is presented in the following categories:
* literature;
* cultural heritage;
* theatre and cinema;
* music and dance;
* visual and applied arts;
* fashion and design;
* science, education, and digital technologies.
These categories cover key areas of modern societal development, with candidates in each category evaluated separately.
Governance and Organizational Structure
The organization, candidate selection, and determination of winners are carried out by the Council of the “Future Heritage” International Award. The composition of the Council is approved by a decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan serves as the working body of the Council and ensures the effective organizational and technical implementation of the competition process.
The designs of the Award statuette and diploma are approved by the Council.
Nomination and Selection Procedure
The competition for the International Award is announced annually on January through mass media and the official website of the Award. Applications, along with information on scientific and creative activities, projects, works, and creative samples, are accepted from January to March.
Candidates are evaluated based on the following key criteria:
* the significance of their contribution to national and global development;
* originality and innovativeness of implemented projects and created works;
* recognition by professional experts and the general public;
* participation in international events, including conferences, exhibitions, festivals, forums, and competitions.
To review submitted materials, working groups consisting of qualified experts and creative professionals are established. Their conclusions are submitted to the Council and are not subject to public objection.
Determination and Announcement of Winners
Based on the conclusions of the working groups, the Council determines the winners of the International Award annually by April 20. The results are announced through mass media and the official website.
If no worthy candidates are identified in a particular category, the Award may not be granted in that category.
Awarding Procedure
The Award is presented to winners in a ceremonial manner. The date and venue of the award ceremony are determined by the Council.
Each winner in the respective categories is awarded:
* a special statuette;
* a diploma;
* a one-time cash prize of USD 10,000.
Expenses related to organizing the award ceremony and delivering the cash prizes are covered by the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Award may be granted to an individual only once.
Final Provisions
Documents submitted for the Award are retained by the working body and are not returned. Cash prizes for foreign winners may be paid in foreign currency.
Measures are taken to promote the scientific and creative activities of the Award winners, disseminate their projects and works, and establish cooperation related to their professional activities.
