The President of Uzbekistan arrived in Belgium on an official visit

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in Brussels on an official visit.

At the international airport in the Belgian capital, the head of state was met by the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, Eduards Stiprais, and other officials.

On October 24, the President of Uzbekistan will hold talks with the President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and will also meet with King Philippe of the Belgians.

The leader of our country will participate in the signing ceremony of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union.

The visit also includes a roundtable discussion with representatives of leading European companies and financial institutions.
