A Regional office of the European Investment Bank will open in Uzbekistan

In the presence of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the European Council António Costa and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, an Agreement was signed on the establishment of a regional office of the European Investment Bank in our country.

The European Investment Bank, established in 1958, is the leading financial institution of the EU.

It should be noted that the opening of an office in the city of Tashkent will expand mutually beneficial cooperation and increase the volume of investments attracted to the development of a "green" economy, innovative industry and modern infrastructure in Uzbekistan and in Central Asia as a whole.
