The Treaty on Allied Relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan has entered into force

Following the negotiations held in the presence of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the heads of the foreign policy departments signed the Protocol and exchanged instruments of ratification on the entry into force of the Treaty on Allied Relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

The Treaty was signed during the bilateral summit at the highest level on April 18 last year in Dushanbe.

The document enters into force on the day of the exchange of instruments of ratification.
