Uzbekistan becomes the first Central Asian country to join the International Tungsten Industry Association

The Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (UzTMK) has gained international recognition by becoming a full member of the prestigious International Tungsten Industry Association (ITIA).
With this achievement, Uzbekistan has made history as the first country in Central Asia to join this influential organization. The inclusion of UzTMK into the ITIA underscores global recognition of the country’s potential in the tungsten industry. By joining the association, UzTMK has strengthened its position and become a stable participant in the global tungsten sector. Membership provides the complex with access to market data and analytics, as well as opportunities to engage in major international events and receive up-to-date statistical information.
The primary objective of the ITIA is to analyze global tungsten production, processing, and consumer markets, provide digital and analytical support to the industry, and promote scientific approaches and sustainable solutions. Currently, the association brings together leading companies and research centers from technologically advanced countries such as Japan, Germany, and Austria.
