Joint Statement on Deepening Cooperation towards Strategic Partnership Signed

Following the fruitful talks held in Kuala Lumpur, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim signed a Joint Statement on Deepening Bilateral Cooperation towards Strategic Partnership.

The following documents were also adopted:

- Agreement on Cooperation in Assessing Product Conformity with Halal Standards;

- Agreement on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters;

- Agreement on Cooperation in Higher Education;

- Agreement on Cooperation in Healthcare;

- Agreement on Cooperation in Culture;

- Agreement on Cooperation in Forensic Activities;

- Agreement on Academic and Diplomatic Cooperation;

- Protocol on Cooperation in the Development of Smart Cities;

- Joint Plan to Deepen Partnership in the Fight against Corruption for 2025-2026.
