Requirement for the Kingdom of Belgium citizens
Tourist Visa:
List of documents for issuing tourist visas:
1. Completed and signed visa Application Form.
2. Two passport sized photographs (3.5x4.5 cm) glued to the application forms.
3. Passport photocopy (only main page of passport with personal data and photo).
4. Original Passport.
- the passport must be in good condition (not torn or damaged) and have at least one blank page to affix visa;
- the passport must have at least a three-month period of validity from the moment of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan.
5. Proof of payment for the visa.
B) Сitizens of other countries submit the following documents to obtain tourist visa:
1. A copy of the letter of invitation from an inviting party in Uzbekistan.
- before planning a visit to Uzbekistan, tourists need to arrange via a touristic company in Uzbekistan a VISA SUPPORT LETTER, which has to be submitted directly to the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent;
- tourist visas are issued ONLY UPON RECEIPT of visa support confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Visa support confirmation is transmitted directly to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Brussels.
2. Two passport sized photographs (3.5x4.5 cm) glued to the application forms.

5. Proof of payment for the visa.
List of documents for issuing Business Visa
List of documents for issuing business visas to foreign citizens intending to visit Uzbekistan for business purposes:
1. Completed and signed visa Application Form.
2. Two recent passport sized photographs (3.5x4.5 cm) glued to the application forms.
3. Passport photocopy (only main page of passport with personal data and photo).
4. Original Passport.
- the passport must be in good condition (not torn or damaged) and have at least one blank page to affix visa;
- the passport must have at least a three-month period of validity from the moment of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan.
5. Proof of payment for the visa.
Visas are issued within 5 working days (regular processing) and 3 working days (urgent processing).
Guest visas to Uzbekistan
The inviting person on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan submits an application on the intention to invite a foreign citizen to the local office of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It gives a notice to the inviting person for presenting to the visa department of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on this notice, the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sends telex to the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Brussels.
The inviting person informs the foreign citizen about the telex number, on the basis of which the foreign citizen submits the following documents to the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Kingdom of Belgium for a guest visa:
1. Completed and signed visa Application Form.
2. Two passport sized photographs (3.5x4.5 cm) glued to the application forms.
3. Passport photocopy (only main page of passport with personal data and photo).
4. Original Passport.
- the passport must be in good condition (not torn or damaged) and have at least one blank page to affix visa;
- the passport must have at least a three-month period of validity from the moment of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan.
5. Proof of payment for the visa.
Transit Visa
To obtain transit visa the applicant submits the following documents:
1. Completed and signed visa Application Form.
2. Two passport sized photographs (3.5x4.5 cm) glued to the application forms.
3. Passport photocopy (only main page of passport with personal data and photo).
4. Original Passport.
- the passport must be in good condition (not torn or damaged) and have at least one blank page to affix visa;
- the passport must have at least a three-month period of validity from the moment of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan.
5. A copy of the air ticket with confirmed dates of entry and exit from Uzbekistan.
6. A copy of entry visa to the country of destination.
7. Proof of payment for the visa.
The duration of the visa is up to three months from the date of issue, the number of entries is one or two times, the period of stay is up to 72 hours at each entry. Transit visas are issued within 5 working days (regular processing) and 3 working days (urgent processing).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There are several options to SUBMIT DOCUMENTS TO THE CONSULAR SECTION.
- APPLYING IN PERSON: applicants can submit and collect their documents in person by visiting the Consular Section of the Embassy.
- APPLYING THE VISA-APPLICATION FORM BY E-MAIL: the applicants need to send their visa-application form to consulat@uzbekistan.be and follow the instructions received in consular officer’s reply.
- APPLYING VIA COURIER: applicants can use visa or courier companies to submit and collect their documents to/from the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Brussels. Applicants are responsible for providing visa/courier companies with ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS.
- APPLYING BY POST: applicants are entitled to submit and collect their documents BY POST. In this case, applicants need to provide a self-addressed pre-paid return envelope of one of the following postal services: bPost, DHL or UPS and mail it to the Embassy of Uzbekistan:

The Consular Section of the Embassy reserves the right to request any additional information from the applicant and provide no explanation in case any person is declined an entry visa to Uzbekistan.
All foreign citizens visiting Uzbekistan for more than 3 days are subject to a mandatory registration with the local Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within 72 hours upon their arrival. If foreign citizens are staying in a hotel, the hotel administration is obliged to register them automatically.
